I’ll kiss you

in secret,

in shadow,

on

moonless, starless

nights,

feel the heat

of fevered lips

wipe away the

scarlet shade,

taste the

honeyed, sugary

cluster of

your tongue,

and

twirl my soul

into you,

lost in

Love’s

light
